*

Five dogs do I have

Each one is a knave

Always playing in the bed

Never playing dead

*

They eat a lot of kibble

Because no one knows how to nibble

Always wanting out

And believe me; they know how to pout

*

Five dogs do I have,

And only love is what they crave

Knocking things down

They make me frown

*

But when they give loves

They are little doves

Five dogs do I have

Each one bruises my calves

Hyper, they play

Hyper they stay

Well done! I have been there in the distant past. Fortunately (and unfortunately) there are only two these days.

Whoa!!! Talk about a full house. Loved your poem. The flow, rhythm and rhymes all worked together well.
