First light

The pulse of new love

Anything so warm, anything so fair

Anything so kind

As loves kind stare

In him I see peace, in him I see beauty, everlasting joy

That lasts for eternity

In his presence I'm weak, don't know what to say

That dumb founded feeling that keeps me at bay

Cupid walks right through and shoots me in the heart

He should know I've loved him

Even from the start

Will he ever feel the same, will my love be reciprocated

Now i just wonder in my mind feeling exasperated

I don't know him well

I don't know him true

What I know is this feeling

Which only threatens to rue

My plans to be alone

To remain in the shadows

To run and hide, never to face the tide

But now my mind consumed with love so sweet

I tend to find

In him is where I meet

Subconscious and beauty

Everywhere I go

Life is different

I've grown to know

His presence captures both heart and soul

Will it ever stop

I'm scared to say

I'm done with being alone

It's all in the past

Let's just hope my true love will last
