Born with sparks beneath your skin,
You leap, you clash, you break the mold,
A blaze that bursts, too loud to pin.
A story written loud and bold.
No time for pause, no time for doubt,
A bruised knee? Badge. A loss? A dare.
You’re in, you’re up, you’re charging out.
You feel the fear, then never care.
You're heat, you're fight, you're crash and glow,
The fuse is short, the will is tall,
The force that makes the cold winds go.
You’d rather rise than fear the fall.
A rebel heart, a flaring sun,
They call you wild, they call you rash
Always halfway through the run.
But only you ignite that flash.
You burn too fast, you live too loud
But damn, you make the thunder proud.

I’m a poet at heart, always chasing the quiet moments and turning them into words. Most of what I write is poetry, but every now and then inspiration pulls me in new directions.

This piece really captures that sense of unbridled energy. It makes me think of times when I've taken risks without hesitation. Like that one project where we had to meet a tight deadline. We just jumped in, faced the challenges head-on, and it turned out great. How about you? Any similar experiences?
