First Contact: The Pizza Parley
A rhyming poem about the first thing you would introduce to an alien on Earth.
In a galaxy vast, from a world afar,
An alien touched down, beneath our star.
Curious and keen, to Earth's wonders attuned,
Eager to learn, and be marvelously mooned.
"What's Earth's best secret?" they seemed to ask,
Choosing just one, oh, what a task!
Mountains, oceans, or the sky's vast sprawl?
But I had a delight that would enthrall.
A mischievous thought, a plan so neat,
I'd introduce them to Earth's greatest treat.
To a cozy diner, we made our way,
A slice of magic, their doubts to allay.
The aroma hit, as the door did part,
Cheese, sauce, and toppings, a culinary art.
Their first bite was hesitant, but then pure glee,
Earth's pizza magic, the key to esprit!
"Of all you could show, this takes the chart,"
The alien chuckled, a song in their heart.
"On my space journeys, this memory I'll keep,"
Earth, the planet where pizza runs deep.
