FIRMAMENT

Like fluffy sheets

or pillows spread

the space between

the waters bred

on heaven's lights

or earth's below

where wind doth play

where no man goes

so who has feet

to tread thereon

or eyes to watch

until they're gone

the colors of

the sunset glow

and beckon to

the earth below

they bid me come

up here and see

the glory of

its majesty

come greet the sun

come see the moon

and watch us glow

the stars that swoon

they shine for me

reminding of

what man should be

and rise above

like fluffy sheets

or pillows spread

in the space between

our spirit bred
