Fireball

Exploding like a fireball.

Orange flames rising higher,

Flaming my heart's desire,

Cheeks burning,

Dripping in sweat,

As my skin,

To ashes it shreds,

Still walking tall,

Never afraid,

I'm a fireball!

"Burn fireball, burn them all!

I'll be the one left,

Standing tall,"

A red sky above me turns to blood,

As my voice booms like thunder,

They can see me,

They can hear me!

My enemies run for cover,

I rise even higher,

Above them I will tower,

And one by one,

They cower and fall;

Every one of them,

Hear my thunderous call,

As I continue exploding

Like a fireball!

I love the energy in this poem and the way it builds up with the flames rising higher.
