Nerves shattered and wrecked

The demolition hit you hard

Badly timed joke

When the fire was raging

It consumed me

Blazed and blasted you

Your not fire retardant

So you left the car

And I froze in fear

My stuff is still at your place

I have seen no smoke signals

Or a single siren call of firefighter

To let me know I can collect my belongings

About the Creator

Lisa Pulliam

I love making fun of my emotions, feelings, and thoughts in short form writing such as songs and illustrations. I would like to write longer and more explorative pieces for others to read.
