Fire and Waterfall

Ignite

By Colleen WaltersPublished 11 months ago Updated 9 months ago 1 min read
"Embers" Helen Jane Long

A tiny spark ignites.

A flickering of soul

growing, intensity rising, excising

the dark surround releasing light into

a crystal realm

Waterfall spills over

her edges, hot water startles

jagged senses

thoughts melt slowly into

a shimmery pool

sending ripples out to a

quiet heart raining down

seeping into hidden

crevices of

whys and what ifs

washing them out

to a sea of clear sky

intimate collision

steady rhythm

Flames lick at

diamond droplets

sizzle and leap out

as flickering soul ignites

water's fall

flames trickle over

waterfall embers
