I dig my fingers

into the dense rocky Earth.

Til I reach the core.

Halfway there, snaking,

across flesh and bone, Water

silences the ache.

The warmth then the light

scorch my fingerprints and I

know I feel Fire.

As I withdraw my

fingertips, the crisp Air pulls

the flame to the sky.
