I wish the world was made of wine

And only what I see

So I could block the other stuff

That makes it hard for me

To live a life outside my shell

Inside my head

My prison cell

My home away

From worldly hell

The perfect place for me

I wish the world was made of stone

and sweet but bitter wine

some people think the world is flawed

but flawed is the design

I tend to lock myself away

Inside my troubled mind

But when I see the state of things

I’m confident I’m fine

I am indeed a nervous wreck

But only out my shell

The way these people make me feel’s

A different kind of hell

I check my watch consistently

So I can know the time

Until I get into my world

The one that’s made of wine.
