Finding Yourself Through Sadness

What did you do wrong? Where are you not good enough?

What you should really try to find out,

It’s not someone who can’t give you happiness,

But myself.

What is the person you really want to be?

What is the love you really want?

You have nothing to change.

Don't let someone who can't give you happiness change you.

Your beauty exists for the good person who understands you.

You will strive to become the person you want to be.

There is nothing wrong with you.

That sadness brings you the best harvest,

It just allows you to discover more of yourself.

After that, I gave you the best gift,

It just makes you more certain about who you want to be.

Sometimes we’re way too hard on ourselves, especially when things don’t go as planned with others. That part about sadness helping us discover more about ourselves really hit home. Thanks for sharing this!
