Finding

I know: my true love is not that far away,
(I'm talking about time, not distances or fare);
but sitting my senses was proved fallacious
as heart, mind and soul patrol faster than prey.
-*-
I know: my true love will be waiting for me,
but that only occurs if love knows how I cast;
unforced attunement to external forces
makes me look novel to a certain degree.
-*-
But you know me already: I can bare my soul,
be mere, unadorned, austere and so clean;
love will be able to see thru my veneer,
and once I find love, love and me will be whole.

Your poetry speaks to me. The one who truly loves you sees through your mask, looking only at your eyes, the true you. I've got a lot to read tonight but I enjoy your writing immensely and will get back to it as soon as I can. ⚡💙⚡
