Finding Balance

4.11.23

By Katrina ThornleyPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

There’s a path through the trees

Winding along a route

Ancients once traveled,

A well known trail

Written on walls and engrained

In mind’s

Passed by word of mouth

And swirling through a town-

A path to a secret place

No longer secret,

Where hopes come true

And wishes are granted

With a flick of nature’s hand-

Manifestation’s birth,

The beginning of a train of thought

A train of belief

Once overlooked

But now reawakening

With the once sleeping soul

Of Mother Nature-

As her followers realize there’s more

To the day than clocking in

And clocking out-

No longer mindless spudder

Set to lift others only

And wallow in deprivation-

A new form taken

As dreams are chased

And mind’s health is prioritized,

Living in harmony with an earth

Gaining health-

Because of a new system

Set on following an ancient path

That ancestors thought was savage-

The true civilization

The one that brings hope and peace-

Living hand-in-hand

With our Mother Nature.

so beautiful... so green... a walk through a lush, forested trail... dappled sunlight... and air thick with time. 💚
