I waited a long time for you

I have longed for you

Now you made it

It's here

Finally my guitar is here

Here to stay

Here to play

Finally I have something to play

Something I can hear

Playing from my fingertips

Hugging around my hips

I'm a star now

Getting ready to blow the invisible audience a kiss

I am ready to play

My heart sings as I put my hands on the strings of my guitar

My ear rings hearing the sound of my guitar

Music to my ears and to my heart

I have something turned to someone

I have a low key friend

Someone to be tight to the end

She will be here until my end

I will play my chords

She hums from the strings

She is the wind beneath my wings

Finally you're mine

My guitar
