Finally

Whisking Away the Past

By Elizabeth ButlerPublished about a year ago 1 min read

It is a waste of my time to care.

I feel I do not know anymore.

Like the breeze you seem to change.

Don’t feel like keeping up.

Times have changed for us.

I have no strength.

To cling on,

Not me

No.

  • Sometimes, it's wiser to let go than hold on. Loved your poem

It's always at that point when I allow myself to stop feeling. What a relief to know they don't matter anymore.
