Fiery Red

Wine and love

***

Fire merges with a fire,

Lips upon lips are melting in

Your passion adds to my desire

I starve to death to taste your skin!

Fire glows into the instant,

The flame has an inner shine.

Love is sweet even if it’s distant,

Yet bitterness lingers in the wine —

For it’s a fluid — red as ember,

Like ardent lava, it is burning us.

Breathe the heat and remember —

Time flows really fast!

The scent of fire you’ve exhaled,

Touched me like a craving hand.

Love might be a lovely tale —

Write it with me to the end.
