Fevered, I glanced in the Mirror Part I

( the un-grasped image & Fish Scales )

By Marcus RomanoPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

(The ungrasped image)

A child forms lips to words

Ignites the struggle to be heard

In the whirl wind of Him and Her

Then passes fifteen years,

In a mystic repasse, life as a trance

Or was it weeks? Or days?

Tears, perchance and fears

Darkness, spins, a thimble

Growing tighter by the How

Touching glass, it forms a locket

Picture of setting sound

Choking bare throat where wound

Darkness, its shape, solids and light

A burst, you weep, are chilled

Digging your self away

Depending upon sheets use

To create words and a mood

Beneath thy child's hood

A sea of keys, choral shore

Hearing music, a girl with water

To sooth the fever of my mind

(Fish Scales)

Create a scale, Weight it out

Give your friends the disease

Make them see the colors you see

Tinted by a lovers plea

Chores picked out in advance

Made while in a trance

A colored blur, set off by what you heart

Red when it was July
