February 2018:
I went to the doctor,
I knew something was wrong.
I went to the doctor,
Two more times before I got a diagnosis.
I went to the doctor,
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
I went to the doctor,
They told me there’s no cure, only treatments.
I went to the doctor,
Side effects include:
Weight gain,
Depression,
Acne,
Unwanted hair,
Loss of hair on the scalp,
Back pain,
Irregularity,
Infertility.
I went to the doctor,
I wish I hadn’t.
I went to the doctor,
He still loves me, despite my diagnosis.
I went to the doctor,
He proposed.
I went to the doctor,
He didn’t abandon me.
