Fearful Waves They Roar

Drowning in Anxiety and Fear (Haiku poem)

Fear of what may come

Fear of failure, fear of loss

Riding on a wave

Breathing heavily

Tension mounting with each breath

Heavy in my chest

Fearful waves they roar

Drowning my hope and courage

Worry takes me down

There is no escape

In the dark depths of despair

Yet I still remain
