Fati's Sorrow

A Tale of Hope Lost in the Shadows of Unemployment

By Feumbana Njoya FatimatouPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In shadows deep, where dreams decay,
Fati walks a weary way.
Her heart once full of hopes so bright,
Now burdened with a silent plight.

No job to claim, no work to find,
She's lost in thoughts, her future blind.
Her hands are skilled, her will is strong,
Yet endless searches prove her wrong.

The streets are cold, the nights are long,
Each day she feels she can't belong.
A silent plea escapes her lips,
As hope from grasping fingers slips.

With whispered prayers and silent cries,
She watches time in sorrow fly.
Oh, Fati, may you find relief,
From this unyielding, cruel grief.

May dawn bring light to darkest night,
And end your silent, endless fight.
