Father is Here

As you walk, as you run

my child, never fear.

You should always know

your father is here.

I’ve moved on from this Earth

from the pain, from the hurt

but understand, my children

I would never desert.

When God summoned me

I had to heed the call

in order to be able

to guide and protect you all.

Though you can no longer touch,

nor can you see

by your side, at your back

I will surely always be.

At times you may feel grief

but never fear, never scare

because now that I’m in Heaven

I can be everywhere.

Every road, every path.

Every triumph, every trial.

Every step, every stumble.

Every inch of every mile.

Every pass, every fail.

When life moves fast or slow.

Every door, closed or open.

Every stage and every show.

So as you leap and as you soar

please my child, never fear.

But most importantly never forget

Your Father is Here.
