The world is changing fast,
A blur of pain, a fading past.
Our days are filled with endless sorrow,
Of loss, and of a hollow tomorrow.
Technology races on ahead,
Leaving memories and loved ones dead.
But still, we struggle to keep in pace,
To escape this never-ending race.
The future looms ahead with dread,
A force that leaves us feeling led astray.
We try to hold on to what once was,
But still, the world is slipping away.
The world is changing, that is true,
But with each change, we lose something too.
A piece of our heart, a part of our soul,
A reminder of a life that's now gone cold.
So let us grieve for what we've lost,
For the memories and the cost.
Let us mourn the change with tears,
And hold on to the memories throughout the years.
