Faridat of the sun,

with eyes of olivine,

a gentle soul of peridot.

Wields a Cadceus in his left-

Sheen of vitreous luster

shimmering verde

from the earth mantle—

The one whose words, are medicinal.

Keeps his word, as mood-lifting

as a roar of a lion.

His heart the brightest star,

His hugs intoxicating,

causing the earth to orbit.

Warmth, radiating around his aura

Faridat of the sun,

with eyes of olivine,

A gentle soul of peridot

Sheen of vitreous luster

shimmering verde

Peridot protective providential

His heart remains untamed,

by distant stars of ill-faded romances.

She says he’s a faridat,

his strength hangs

like a hand carved talisman,

around her neck.

His instinct to protect

is deeply rooted in his nature

He is fleet-footed!

For on this day,

a meteor showered the earth.

Adventurous tales

will brighten the sky,

clouds part, proclaiming

a prince was born

with eyes like Pallasite Meteorites,

and a heart of Peridot.

surreal poetry
