Fantastic Deceit

Deception In The Depths Of Me

I had a dream last night, and oh, how it shaped and moved me…

Caressed?

Within its vibrant shapes and forms.

I didn’t want to see you or even think of you before.

So inevitably, night whispered and subconscious made you a more prevalent feature of fantasy to endure.

You haunt every inch and curve of my body,

My mind, you echo through its walls.

Every fiber, every sinew of skin begins to bump and crawl.

I dont want this ache in me to linger.

This shiver down my spine.

It sinks into the depths of me…

Unfulfilled…

Denied.

Do you feel me in this way?

Do I stimulate you to your core?

For wanting of a taste, of flesh…

A chance to know me more?

Physical in nature,

Illusion…

Mind so insecure.

I know you so intimately,

Elusive…

Can't make you real… though I've tried.

Have even gotten close on those sleepless nights,

Hurting for a sign,

Under the starry skies, I do not make a wish, but dare upon it more.

Seeking from its fractals…

A Babylon for its whore
