We don't spend enough time on nostalgic moments, which can help bind a family together. Well said in a few succinct words, Mariann.

I love your work! This hits home so much. Even when we have time, looking through tangible photos does not come to mind. At least not mine. I have 4 kids that come from 2 different "generations." Our oldest two reminded me how sad it is that her generation is the last to have stills/prints. I didn't realize it, but for our two younger kids every picture/photo/still/video are all digital. Even their ultrasounds are all different. Respectively by age: they go VHS, DVD, Digital, QR code...

  • You. I like to shift through old photos every blue moon.

Such is the tragedy of life! Always take and have pictures but never have the time to go through them or never have a place to display them or they lay left somewhere forgotten. The beauty in it is that one day you will open the trunk they sit in and it will feel like the most beautiful treasure there is! So well written and thought out! Well done, Mariann!
