Our family, out for a 3 day camping trip, is a trip that is unforgetable.
We made the best of a three day rain, snuggled in the family van, to sleep.
Best parts were the before sleep storytelling which made it unregretable.
We laughed, and cried, and will cherish the memory locked in our minds to keep.
The day came to pack and go home, we ripped apart our haven, and raced to the van door
Pulled into the driveway and didnt park right and stumbled over one another to the shower.
Of course mom and the two youngest were the last ones in, and stood at moms bedroom door
we looked at each other, laughing as i tore off my quilt, grabbed some fresh sheets and made a fort over the bed.
As we laid in the fort, the kids came one by one, with their blankies and pillows in tow
we shuffled around, made enough room even dad had a great spot by the wall,
we couldnt help feel like this is our real home and our hearts let off a warm glow.
me and my husband managed to lock fingers and eyes and our looks said it all.
