Picture taken by Heather Potter, my mother. The person this was written for/about.

If you grow old- and then you forget,

How to get to where you've been...

If the memories begin to fade

Just as the moments did...

I'll be there for you-

I won't let them take you in.

I will take care of you

I'll be your only friend.

If you get weak I'll help you be,

Able to be to achieve-

Everything you want in life even if you dont

Truly believe believe

With everything in me.

It's only right to do the same.

For you.

Your'e blood, you gave me life.

Of you Because breathe

So as you try to find

The reasons for your time,

Think of her and find,

What matters here inside.

Follow your gut

intuition is clear cut.

Black & white

If you think it, feel it,

Dont jump the gun.

If you grow old- and then you forget,

How to get to where you've been

If the memories begin to fade

Just as the moments did...

I'll be there for you

I wont let them take you in.

We've only got so long

To live, to learn, to teach

Simply, Practice what you preach

There are Some things you can not unteach..

no matter the distance

Between us,

You'll never need to worry,

If you need me-

There I'll be.

I'll tell you your story.

If you forget it

Until then

You have to let me in

Tell me where you've been.

What you've seen, when you were a kid, up until just now

Who you are, and

who you were.

The random things you can remember making you happy along the road.

If you forget...

If you grow old- and then you forget,

How to get to where you've been...

I'll be there

If the memories begin to fade

Just as the moments did...

I'll take care of you

I'll be there for you-

I won't let them take you in.

I'll be here

I will take care of you

And if I need to be

I'll be your only friend.

You're my blood.

You gave me life.

Worry not

It'll be alright.

The only home you'll go to is mine.
