Falling

I fell in love with you outside

the rain was pouring down

the thunder was booming

But there you were

standing on the sidewalk

looking up at the sky

So I looked up to

and I laughed

then you laughed too

I looked back at you

you stared back at me

I could see the joy in your eyes

We were soaked to the bone

so you started running

I ran after you

We ran into a bookstore

laughing

smiling

soaked

and happy

We stayed in the store

till the rain stopped

talking about everything

and anything

You got a call

said you had to go

so you left

And I woke up.
