All pretence dropping

Proudly donned their truest hue

An ornate poem that has different perspectives regarding its interpretation. The masks may refer to the leaves hiding the branches. Yet, they may also refer to the smiling, slimy grins of summer that now freeze. It surely concludes with an appeal for respect for all things. 💜

  • I love the raw honesty in this one. Beautiful, Marie!

  • This was absolutely beautiful! Loved your poem!

  • I like how this is different.
