Thump,

Tripping over a bump

Trip indeed, the brain’s flippin’

On slow-motion this view be ripping’

Upside down slipping

Is it me or is it ‘out there’

Are these my feet or the legs of a chair

Upended into abysmal tide

a heck of a wild ride

Unhinged and deranged

The mind less tamed

What reality could be claimed ?

Slipping, falling, feeling like sliding

The psyche and the world colliding

These senses a trickster to truth seeking stoic

Clarity and discernment thrown out with logic

The day the inner world fell into the fray

And this seeker found her way
