Dear Defenders,

I stand guard at your blessed gates, forever watching over you

A stark reminder of your glory days, when you fought for what you thought and hoped was right and true

For liberty and justice for all

Humbly I sit here in sweet repose, representing all my canine soldiers who have fought bravely by your side

We the canine units, stand for brothers and sisters everywhere

Proudly we promise to never forget the lives so fierce and stalwart

Who defended us with their last whispered breaths

To the many who still serve with dignity, courage and forthrightness

Who daily, fearlessly, valiantly and intrepidly, wade undaunted into the storm

Who still stand in defense of our worldly freedom, liberty and peace

The world will be forever grateful
