Fall

Leaves fall off the trees as the wind blows in, fall is in the air

The small of apply crisp in the air

Big piles of leaves laying around

Just waiting for the little ones to come jumping around

Tis the season for dressing up

Feeling scared and yelling about

Carving pumpkins with scary sounds

Fall is a beautiful season, filled with fruity tastings

Beautiful colors always surrounding

Enjoy the scents and silly sounds

Fall tends to come and go like it was never around

The season between summer and winter, during which the weather becomes cooler and many plants become dormant, extending in the Northern Hemisphere from the autumnal equinox to the winter solstice and popularly considered to include the months of September, October, and November. A beautiful time of year to watch the leaves change color.

Fall is a beautiful time of year. Not many think of it as often as they should. Summer and winter are usually the main seasons we all wait for, but, fall brings just as much fun and joy. From apple picking to pumpkin picking. To picking out costumes and trick or treating. Fall brings the colors we all love to see.

After having spent the last year going through this pandemic, I have been thinking lately about other things. Fall is one of them. I'm realizing that we shouldn't take any day or season for granted. We should spend as much time with family as we can and be outdoors enjoying the beautiful surroundings that each season brings. Fall brings families together. There are Thanksgiving and Halloween that we celebrate. Let us rejoice in change, because as each season comes and goes we experience it.

2020-2021: It has been hard on us all but as this year begins let us rejoice in the seasons to come. Let us rejoice in being alive. Enjoy time with family. Make a leave pile and jump right in. Let us reminisce about when we used to be little. Playing hopscotch, jump rope, foursquare, basketball, etc. During fall we can do all those things. It is the season for cleaning up and preparing for the snow.

So...what is your favorite season? These are just a few reasons why fall is ONE of my favorite seasons. These few years have been rough for us all, so let us reminisce all the good times we have had and will begin building.
