Faith Knows the Way

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 2 months ago 1 min read

Verse 1

I’ve chased every answer, turned every stone

Tried to make sense of the unknown

But the stars don’t explain, they just shine

And the heart finds peace when it stops the climb

Pre-Chorus

There’s a stillness deeper than thought

A wisdom that can’t be taught

It whispers soft through the noise

In a voice that says, “Let go, rejoice”

Chorus

For your peace of mind, don’t try to know it all

We weren’t made to scale every wall

Some truths are too wide, too deep, too high

That’s why we’re told to trust, not pry

Faith isn’t blindness, it’s light in the fog

A hand in the dark, a path through the bog

The Divine knows the plan, the rhythm, the rhyme

So rest, child — faith knows the time

Verse 2

I’ve seen storms that reason can’t calm

And healing that came without a psalm

I’ve felt grace in the ache, love in the loss

And learned that surrender is never the cost

Bridge

So I’ll lay down my need to explain

And walk with the wind, not against the rain

There’s peace in the not knowing

And strength in the flowing

Final Chorus

For your peace of mind, don’t try to understand

Every mystery held in the palm of His hand

We’re not meant to grasp every thread

Just to follow where we’re gently led

Faith isn’t weakness, it’s courage in bloom

A candle that glows in a shadowed room

The Divine knows what He’s doing, always has, always will

So be still, child — be still
