And when you make your self small
I'll too remember what it's like to still be attempting to fit in
Places we've outgrown
Like friends in
Places we once knew
And now old memories resurface in place to fill holes that used to be gaps
I know,
What you're feeling.
So I don't feel the need to break you down so that the healing process reveals images of me when you're reflecting in that mirror
Looking back on the moment it appeared
You were getting just too big
That box doesn't fit you anymore
And when you pick yourself up
I’ll be cheering from the side knowing,
That growing takes falling over awkward feats, sometimes
Stumbling upon a moment that grows momentous
Only stunted without action, in fact it’s
Ironic.
Though we both know that your fate rests in you’re own hands
Your faith questioned, and at no chance
Can you stay stuck in the program.
Blue pill but the concept of “chill” fills you with images of being placed back inside
A cold, dark box
And it’s not that you will try to be self degrading
Confused at how your views can be construed as hatred when you’re just stating the obvious—
Never say it.
But you know growth happens at different rates depending on the organism
So though you might think your growth is too slow you hold a deeper understanding
That, you refuse to grow in conditions less than optimal,
I’m proud of you

Whoaaa! This is fire! Growth, stumbles, outgrowing old spaces—it's all there, and that ending? A whole vibe. Big love for the “I’m proud of you” energy.😊✨
