The sun sets slow, a fiery ball

Painting the sky with hues of gold and all

The stars appear, like diamonds bright

As day gives way to the interminable evening

The world is bathed in twilight's hush

A moment's peace, before the rush

Of darkness falls, and shadows play

And the world is lost in endless gray

But even in the darkest night

There's beauty found, a gentle light

A whispered promise, a guiding star

That leads us through life's troubled scar

For in the fading light, we find

A reflection of our own kind

A reminder to cherish each day

And hold on to life in every way
