Fading calories

Self-destructive ego in action

Fading calories

Hampered down by pain I cry at night,

Forgotten lies shattered, no light,

Hearts once close now drift apart,

Love fades with each lost breath,

Shadows of the past,

Calories fade,

Deadly end,

So long,

Blown.

Very sad! Without fuel a fire dies. Well done, Gabriela!

This felt so visceral. Sad, but beautifully composed, Gabriela! Well done!
