Facing Fear
A poem about fear
In shadows deep, I stand alone,
a trembling heart, a fear unknown.
The darkness wraps around my soul,
in its icy grip, I lose control.
*
My mind spins tales of what could be,
a thousand horrors, I can't break free.
Doubt and worry, consume my mind,
as I search for answers, I'm hard to find.
*
The unknown future, a daunting sight,
fills my heart with endless fright.
What if I stumble, what if I fall,
what if I can't rise above it all?
*
But in this fear, I'll take a stand,
for courage dwells within this land.
I'll face the shadows, confront the night,
with every ounce of my inner might.
*
For fear, though potent, can be a guide,
to places where I must not hide.
It pushes me to grow and learn,
to face my demons, to discern.
*
So, though my heart may still be afraid,
I'll step forward, unswayed.
With every step, I'll find my way,
and conquer fear, come what may.

A powerfully sentimental poem that we all can relate to.
This was very relatable and inspirational! A very powerful poem! I loved it!
Great work! The fear of the future and the unknown is indeed daunting. It has the power to either shackle us to stagnation and apathy, or we can choose to embrace it and forge our own path.
