Face your Fears.

Memories of you in our Home

By Dawn EarnshawPublished 4 years ago 1 min read
What brings me back Home.

FACE YOUR FEARS

I heard your voice in the wind today

I turned to see your face;

The warmth of the wind caressed me as I stood, silently in place.

I needed my sanctuary.

I ran home.

I felt your touch in the sun today, it’s warmth filled the sky. I closed my eyes for your embrace and my spirit flew high.

I ran home to my Sanctuary.

I saw you eyes in the window pane as I watched the falling rain. It seemed each falling raindrop, quietly said your name.

This is why my home is my sanctuary as I feel lonely yet protected.

I held you close in my heart today

It made me feel complete;

You may have died … but you live on here in our home in our Sanctuary so sweet.

As long as the wind blows and the sun shines,

you will live on, inside of me forever, with the rest of the family; forever in my heart here in my home the Sanctuary.

Homecoming is love, with a drop of fantasy.

That’s what coming home means to me ….
