Counting Crows

They say, three crows in a row, means death

when flesh and bones are weak

They've come to capture your last breath

and tongue, if you dare speak

The air so foul, would choke a man

and drive him to his knees

Hold on to health, long as you can

or to the depths you'll sink

Wrapped in a cloth, tight as your skin

and to the sea you're carried

Strapped to a board, and thrown on in

thousands down there, have been buried

So, count the crows and watch the sky

or trouble you will find

The devil himself is coming by

to claim your unconscious mind

fact or fiction

Let's see how many are outside right now. Hang on. This might take a while.
