EYE SNAKE

EYE SNAKE

By James GreenPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

"There's a snake in your eye."

"Where?"

"There, in your eye."

"I can't see it?"

"Of course not, how could you see within your eye?"

"Then how do I know that there's a snake in it?"

"You'll just have to trust me."

"But what if the snake is you?"

"Excuse me!"

"Yes. What if the snake is you I'm seeing with my eye."

"I'm the snake in your eye? Preposterous."

"Then why would there be one in it?"

"I don't know. How should I know?"

"You seemed pretty certain I had a snake in my eye."

"I did, didn't eye."
