Extraterrestrial
poem about the first thing you would introduce to an alien on Earth.
To greet an alien from afar,
Upon our Earth, a shining star,
The first thing I'd introduce with glee,
Would be the beauty of a tree.
With roots that dig in deep and strong,
And branches stretching all day long,
A symbol of life, both wild and free,
A sight that would surely make them see.
The leaves that dance in the gentle breeze,
A chorus of colors, a symphony of ease,
A home for birds, a shade for me,
A marvel of nature, a wondrous tree.
I'd take them to a forest grand,
Where trees together form a band,
And as they gaze upon the scene,
They'd know our world is lush and green.
For in a tree, so tall and wise,
A message to the skies implies,
That Earth is full of beauty rare,
A world we're eager to share.
So, to an alien, I'd say with mirth,
"Behold, the wonder of our Earth,
A tree, our gift from land to sky,
A symbol of life, let's reach so high!"
