Extraterrestrial Designated Driver

Designated Driver

By C.S LEWISPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In realms beyond our mortal sight,

Where stars adorn the velvet night,

There dwells a being, strange and rare,

My extraterrestrial designated driver, fair.

From galaxies uncharted, vast,

A traveler through time and space so fast,

They came to Earth, a mission clear,

To guide me through the cosmic sphere.

Their eyes aglow with stellar fire,

A soul forged in celestial mire,

Skin as opalescent as a nebula's sheen,

A being from a world unseen.

With grace, they navigate the stars,

Through asteroid fields, past quasars,

They steer the ship with steady hand,

In this unearthly, foreign land.

A sentient mind of cosmic depth,

In every gesture, every breath,

They hold the wisdom of eons gone,

A tapestry of galaxies spun.

Yet, in their heart, a kindness gleams,

A longing for terrestrial dreams,

To taste the rain, to touch the grass,

To glimpse the future, glimpse the past.

Together, we traverse the cosmic sea,

A strange pair, bound by destiny,

Through interstellar winds we glide,

In this vessel, we do confide.

They share with me the secrets rare,

Of distant worlds beyond compare,

Of civilizations that rise and fall,

In cosmic ballet, they enthrall.

Through wormholes, we venture forth,

To realms where time has little worth,

In galaxies where mysteries lie,

With every twinkle in the sky.

And as we journey, side by side,

In this wondrous, cosmic ride,

I find in them a friend so true,

A bond forged 'Neath the starlight's hue.

Oh, extraterrestrial guide of mine,

With you, the stars so brightly shine,

Together, we'll explore the unknown,

In this universe, we've grown.

About the Creator

C.S LEWIS

I presently think positively. Railing and censuring just destroy. Confirmed speculation develops. I currently take a gander at the daily routine that I experience and confirm, "It is Great." I love and favor the Ideal Power inside me
