Expansive Habit
Sometimes I like to play with words way too much!

An expensive habit
But she wears it well
An expensive hobby
But he rides the horse well
An expensive vice
But that coke goes up well
An expensive waste
Of oxygen, heart, lungs, body and mind
Save your money
Spend your time
Enjoy the honey
Stay off the line
(time doesn't rhyme with line)

Thanks for reading!

Yes. This is really fantastic, Pal. I like this short piece with deep thoughts!
Well played, Paul, even with the assonance. (Or as Rita would say, "Yeah, it means getting the rhyme wrong.")
I really wanted this to be about a nun! 😏 Maybe next time.. Too many addictions.. life is brainwashing us… fed up.. can’t control.. I need off this merry go round. Maybe I should not drink and vocal. Now THAT is expensive.
Lol, I wanted to ask you about the spelling in your title as it was different from yout poem but I saw your reply to Hannah. Would you be able to get it fixed? Loved your poem 🍩🥐

You've just had me googling the Latin roots of expensive.
Took me a sec to figure out the coke was not a drink. Excellent verse.
