Existence in All States

A career change confuses

but

I’m allowed to alter course.

It’s not about convenience

or the administrative nightmare caused

pursuant repercussions that inspire dread

or potential loss of funding.

Classifications are a manmade construct.

Just watch me make something else.

No talk.

All action.

Emergence.

Existence in all states but I got preferences.

Dedication with defiance.

The laws of physics

will never apply

so

stop searching databases

and examine hearts.

Mine tells me to expand

embrace

abandon every disharmonious thing taught

and there

I find buried longings all-encompassing

yet formless.

Ever present shape-shifter.

Elemental awareness since inception of worlds.

I want to be irrepressible yearned for thirst

bearing scent of the cleansed ones.

Access Rumi and Gibran.

Storm surge indifference.

Saturate greed

with sheets of curtain thick monsoon

and drown it.

Quench and extinguish

for all the right reasons.

Wipe agendas clean.

As clarity rises and confusion wanes

to be river teardrop ocean rain and sea.

Claim right of ascension.

I want to be water

I want to be me.

Relaxed molecular bonds

soft yet solid.

Encircle life on repeat.

Brush cheek and leaf with identical tenderness

and commit every passionate crime.

Exude power peace around a hope about to give up

that I catch just in time

because I know what it’s like

to love

to lose

to be liquid embarrassment

craving evaporation so you can pretend

nothing happened.

Transform to hushed falling

in gentle fields

on the most delicate blooms.

Feel earth’s reunion joy with tribal celebration.

Sweet splatter of musty relief against dusty plains.

Deepest sighs for long-awaited gains.

As clarity rises and confusion wanes.

To be river teardrop ocean rain and sea.

Claim right of ascension.
