Prologue

Some battles are private; they stand alone, answering to no one. Nowhere Boy is a strange man on stolen land, left to suffer at the hands of Damage Bandits. These thieves of virtue have stood the test of time. A rebel to his mind, resisting the lineage of a warrior calling within, choosing to remain unknown, defined by his skin. Surrounded by so much confusion; as fear, oppression, and hate boil within. How bad can it be, born free, only to grow older in this world he had no choice in calling home? How bad can it be, born free, only to grow older and learn that what others own in this world, I only lease?

Some battles are private; they have no right or wrong. Some battles exist as lyrics in a one-sided theme song. Some battles exist only for the stories that follow along. So stick around for the story of a boy from parts unknown, the fight to call Nowhere, home. Those who’ve looked up to the cosmos, wondering where all that energy goes, stick around; it’s a lie when they say no one knows. Stick around; follow the rabbit down the hole; let’s see how deep it goes. Stick around; explore, learn; when you are Nowhere, there’s no need to return.
