Evil for Evil

Repay Evil with Good

You versus me,

They versus we,

Division.

You judge them guilty by association,

You commit crimes believing it vindication,

You're ruining lives without any hesitation,

You're breaking down the fabric of our nations.

Justified in anger,

Justified in sadness,

Unjustified in manner,

Unjustified in madness.

Instead of seeking justice for the deceased,

You're bringing violence to our streets,

Raging wildly like beasts,

Childishly you wreak.

I'm calling for peace.

If there is a way, it's not this one,

Repaying evil with evil is a suicidal mission,

Nothing less than moral malnutrition,

This path only leads towards one dark and terrible transition.

Blind rage creates a deaf heart.

Stand against evil,

Don't add it.

Fight the flame,

Don't fan it.

You are me,

And they are we,

Different colors,

But one community.

Justice for the dearly deceased,

Punish the crooked police,

But for the fear of God,

Protest in peace.
