Everything orange

Or what a summer day felt like

By Strange & PoeticPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Sunkissed on her back

She looked like a greek goddess

Worshipped for her smile

Rose hint, wild warmth

Everything orange, silver nose

The sun, burning our skins

A wrist laid on a forehead,

Lungs breathing in the cool wind

Lilacs, blues and greens and yellows,

And black and orange, skin and hair and

Everything orange

She brought back orange

To put on our nails

I whispered to the sun

How did she know about orange?

But everything is orange

Lilacs, blues and greens and yellow

Black and orange

Skins and hairs and nails and smiles and suns and stars and winds and grass

Stares and eyes,

Hair and warmth,

And orange.

Everything

Orange.
