Hay-breath and Scratchy Lips by Judah LoVato

A fuzzy nose emerges through the stall gate

With a 'kuh-huh-huh' inquiring about treats

I undo the cold latch, and scratchy lips greet me

With the sweet reek of hay-breath desiring the peppermint

Which we crunch together in the evening cool
