Even Magi Shed Tears Squared

Expanded poem: Squared.

Dragons Deigning

Trees covered in moss…

Mountainside brimming,

How did I become so lost

Ferns' shade cast upon the ground,

I saw you once but you slipped away

The sight, one look would make my heart pound,

Or more than once

And rapidly as of a rushing river, dragonflies dance and little fish swimming,

Still…

as the night, moonbeam shining down,

I see you again

Visions eclipsing, Earths humble domain,

In my dreams

The good ole' U.S.A., an beacon of love,

I know your name

The angels took me away…

But I can not find you

Though I look every which way.

I look for you when I am awake

Hoping to find, exquisite perfection gleaming,

Trapped here in this prison

All I got is Faith, now. Gravity keeps yearning,

The ground pulling me down

All the while I keep learning.

Lost in time a heart still beating

Eternity in one night, it all began, spinning,

A moment when

A moment in the beginning, encompassing sweetly,

A moment so fleeting

Time marches on.

Jesus Christ…

Thank you, Lord for the blessings, strum guitar

And keeping me guessing, Keep breathing

Your love lifts me up!
