Trees covered in moss…

How did I become so lost

I saw you once but you slipped away

Or more than once

Still…

I see you again

In my dreams

I know your name

But I can not find you

I look for you when I am awake

Trapped here in this prison

The ground pulling me down

Lost in time a heart still beating

A moment when

A moment so fleeting

Jesus Christ…

Strum guitar

Keep breathing

Mountainside brimming,

Ferns' shade cast upon the ground,

The sight, one look would make my heart pound,

And rapidly as of a rushing river,

Dragonflies dance and little fish swimming,

As the night, moonbeam shining down,

Visions eclipsing, Earths humble domain,

The good ole' USA, an beacon of love,

The angels took me away…

Though I look every which way.

Hoping to find, exquisite perfection gleaming,

All I got is Faith, now. Gravity keeps seeming,

to be yearning, All the while I keep learning.

Eternity in one night, it all began, spinning,

A moment in the beginning, encompassing sweetly,

Time marches on.

Thank you, Lord for the blessings,

And keeping me guessing,

Your love lifts me up!

Keeping me strong!

I wish I had known it all along!
